Allied Strength Athlete Sam Groleau Named Winter Sport All-Star

Congratulations to Allied Strength Athlete Sam Groleau for being named Winter Sport All-Star by the Gloucester Times Sports Team. Sam has worked hard this winter to get stronger and keep his shoulders healthy during a tough swim season. Here is what the GDT had to say about him:

“The sophomore was a standout in both the 100 breaststroke and 100 backstroke, winning the NEC and earning first team All Conference status for his work in the former. Groleau competed in both events at the North Sectional Meet, scoring Gloucester’s lone point in the backstroke and earning a trip to the Division 1 State Meet, where he finished 16th.”

Sam has a bright swim career in front of him. He is already back at Allied Strength to prepare for next season.

Allied Strength Athlete Jade Cromwell Named Fall Sport All-Star by Gloucester Times

The Gloucester Daily Times named Allied Strength Athlete Jade Cromwell one of its Fall Sports All-Stars. Since joining Allied Strength in April 2018 Jade has been a leader inside the gym and out on the field  with her hard work and positive attitude. She, along with her sister Mia and Claire O’Brien, trained throughout the summer to help Manchester-Essex Girls Varsity Soccer have their most successful in the program’s history. Jade is already back in the gym training in preparation for her colligate career.

Here is what the Gloucester Daily Times staff had to say about her:

Jade Cromwell, Manchester Essex soccer: The Hornets had a historic 2018 campaign, winning the CAL title for the first time in program history, and Cromwell was the leader of the team defense which allowed just a goal per game.

A starter on the back line since her freshman season and a three-time CAL All-Star, Cromwell was frequently tasked with defending the opponent’s top scorer, and she frequently shut them down.
